Lee, Youngcheol

1960년 경북 김천에서 태어난 그는 안동대 미술학과와 계명대 대학원 회화과에서 서양화를 전공했다. 20여 회의 초대 개인전과 200여 회의 국내외 단체전에 참여했으며, 현재 전업작가로 활동 중이다.

베스트셀러 도서 ‘멈추면 비로소 보이는 것들’의 표지 그림,김광석 거리 벽화 등으로 친숙한 그의 작품은 예술의 대중적 소통에

큰 기여를 했다고 평가받고 있다.
